Shane Nelson is my diggy dawg. Shane is a former professional extreme sports athlete turned filmmaker. Shane has been working independently in the film industry for over 13 years and can literally do it all. Shane is a highly skilled producer, editor, writer, director, DP, etc. on and on.... Dude's got talent for miles.

You might have heard of a few small town bands such as the Foo Fighters and Motion City Soundtrack? Yep, well Shane has produced and directed music videos for those bands as well as for many many more local and national acts.

On top of the long list of music videos Shane has directed he has also produced and sold a number of documentary films mostly focused in the extreme sports category including a number of highly recognized ski films.

If you're not familiar with the world of freestyle skiing you wouldn't know who Tanner Hall is... but if knew anything about the sport you'd know he was the biggest name in the business for years. Shane produced and directed a feature length documentary on Tanner Hall titled: Like A Lion. I was lucky enough to see that films premiere last year and it was a great documentary about a legendary athlete. I wasn't the only one to appreciate Shane's work because the film won 8 best documentary awards including X-Dance Best Biography and a special jury award at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
